The Association's purpose shall be to extend the associations formed and good fellowship established among the officers and men who served in USS Robert E. Lee (SSBN-601) and as (SSN-601) during her long and illustrious career successfully devoted to the deterrence of war. Toward this end reunions will be held biennially.
